Stronger Together: JWA Closes 2025, Powers Up 2026

By JWA Team

As 2025 ends, JPMC Workers Alliance is bigger, braver, and more connected. Through meetings both online and in person; we grew our network, backed each other up on the job, and started planning how to turn that energy into real power in 2026.

Quick Recap: What We Did

  • We grew. More coworkers joined our Action Network list, Discord, and vetted membership. JWA is now a real structure inside the bank, not just a group chat.
  • We supported each other. A 25-person Thanksgiving gathering, game nights, and local meetups showed what solidarity feels like in practice.
  • We stood up for our rights. When a manager tried to shut down workplace conversations, a member asserted their NLRA rights and management backed down.
  • We trained as organizers. We learned about building to a two-thirds supermajority, finding trusted “organic leaders,” and using structured organizing conversations.
  • We planned ahead. We started mapping who works where, brainstorming future bargaining units, Valentine’s outreach, and even a long-term vision for a tech-worker guild.

Looking Ahead to 2026

2025 proved JWA exists.
2026 is about proving JWA is powerful.

Our focus:

  • Build supermajority support in key buildings and departments
  • Identify leaders in every major site
  • Use maps and data to guide future bargaining units
  • Turn RTO and in-person time into chances to organize
  • Make calmly asserting our rights a normal part of work

Call to Action

In the next month, choose one step:

  • Talk to two coworkers about what is hardest at work
  • Join a game night, meetup, or organizing call
  • Help with mapping, flyers, writing, or outreach
  • Tell us what skill you want to build (one-on-ones, leadership, legal rights, tech organizing)

JWA is you and your coworkers. Every conversation, every flyer, every “you’re not alone” moves us closer to the power we deserve. Here’s to a bold, organizing-filled 2026.
